Harry James “Jim” Stout II, age 64, a resident of Brushy Fork Community passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 22, 2021 in Broaddus Hospital Emergency Room. Jim was born February 18, 1957 in Philippi a son of the late Harry James and Eva Louise (Cain) Stout. Surviving is-

Step-grandson, Kenny Paul Weekley III, and several great-nephews and nieces.
Jim worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Development Services and C &W Coal Company. He was co-owner and operator of J &J Logging and JJ Farms with his brother. He enjoyed working on his family farm with his brother Joe, great nephew Talan and great niece Paisley Stout. He also enjoyed logging and farming with Brian Wentz. Jim enjoyed racing with Denny Chamberlin Race team, and Eric Hudkins Motorsports and recently became partial team owner of the Jacob Hawkins CJ Johnson # 37 Race Team. He also enjoyed playing cards with his nephews and cousin James Cain, and would help out in the community whenever he could.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday May 25, from 4-8 pm, Wednesday May 26, from 3-8pm and on Thursday May 27, from 10 am- 12 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 pm with Pastor Mike Riffle officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
