Harry W. Nestor, age 79, a resident of Philippi passed away Thursday March 10, 2022 in Broaddus Hospital. Harry was born December 26, 1942 in Philippi a son of the late William Hugh and Evelyn (Upton) Nestor. Harry was untied in marriage on June 25, 1965 to his wife of 57 years Magdalen “Cookie” (Dimiduk) Nestor who survives at home. Also surviving are children, Evelyn Bohr of Trinton, NJ, Chere Cambra of Bayville, NJ, William Nestor of Beachwood, NJ, and Danielle Purificato and husband Ray of Toms River, NJ
Siblings, Michael Nestor and wife Linda of Missouri, Dorsey Nestor and wife Linda of Irwin, PA, Frank Nestor and wife Debbie of Hillsboro, NC, Donna Chiberko and husband Keith of McKeesport, PA, Lilly Riggs and husband Dave of Mebane, NC, and Betty McCarthy and husband Bob of Apollo, PA
11 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren
Harry was preceded in death by brothers, Monzel, Randy, and Billy Nestor
Harry worked as a Boat Mechanic, he loved to fish and tinker with cars. In honor of Harry’s request cremation will be honored. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
