James Lee Weaver, Jr. age 76, a resident of Arden Community passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 27, 2025 at his residence. James was born June 7, 1948 in Philippi, a son of James Lee Weaver, Sr. and Betty Rae (Rexroad) Weaver. James was united in marriage in 1974 to Dolly June (Robinson) Weaver.
James enjoyed riding his side by side, he loved driving and anything with wheels. James was an Aliquippa Quips Football fan. He loved being outdoors and being in nature. James was an animal lover and especially adored his beagle, Scratch.
James served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a truck driver for Ten Road Express Trucking.
James is survived by his loving wife Dolly; children Amy Lea DeBoer and husband Bill, and Mallory Weaver; siblings Dianna Serback and husband Paul, Rick Weaver and wife Carol, Kathryn Davis and husband Bill, Jack Weaver and wife Tammy, Ana Marie Marsh and husband James; also several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by two infant sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 31, at 2 pm at the Fairview Cemetery with Speaker David Mitchell officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the US Army and American Legion Psot # 96. The family ask that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made in James’s honor to ALS Association 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 600 Arlington, VA 22209.
