Jason Eric Reed, age 44, resident of Flemington, passed away Friday December 17, 2021 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. Jason was born May 14, 1977 in Philippi, a son of Leonidas Reed and Velma Foster and step father James Foster of Bear Mountain.
Also surviving- Children Gabriel Reed, Carmela Reed, and LeLand Reed all of Philippi
Sister, Kay Arbogast and husband Jody of Bear Mountain
Amy Bray and husband Jerry of Flemington
Step brother, Jimmy Foster
Step sister, Samantha Wellman
Grandmother, Mary Reed of Galloway
Several nieces and nephews
Jason was preceded in death by father, Leonidas Reed, and Grandfather, George Reed
Jason loved his children very much, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the mountains, sitting by the fire outside having a good time with friends and family. He worked on several drilling rigs.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday December 20, from 5-8 pm and on Tuesday December 21, from 8am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm with Pastor Scott Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Cains Hopewell Cemetery.
