Jason David White, age 33, a resident of Rt. 2 Belington, WV passed away Monday June 4, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on September 22, 1978 in Elkins a son of the late David Leon White and Jill (Weese) Price and step-father Thomas E. Price of Belington. Jason was united in marriage on July 1, 2000 to Stephanie D. (Wilfong) White who survives. Also surviving
One daughter: Abrianna Mae White
One son: David Taylor White both of Belington
Two sisters: Amy Dawn Lawrence of Belington
Nichole Brook Carpenter and husband Jonathon of Montrose
Jason was preceded in death by grandparents: Homer and Lillian Weese, Martha and Jack McIntyre, Dorothy and Edward Price.
He worked as an underground maintenance foramen for Arch Coal Company. Jason was the coach for several sports, such as the Barbour County Football Coach, Belington Little League, Jerry West Basketball, and he loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Philippi Southern Baptist Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday June 6, from 10 am- 8 pm and on Thursday June 7, from 8- 11 am the service hour with Pastor Brian Corrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery.
