Jeffery worked as a truck driver for various companies lastly for Star Trucking. His greatest passion was fishing. He enjoyed being out riding motorcycles and socializing with his friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Jeffery is survived by his two sons; Michael Croston and companion Samantha Daugherty, Miles Croston and wife Johnna; grandchildren Maysa and Summer Croston; siblings Leon Croston, Louis Croston, and Elaine Wright; best friend Pooh Bear.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Nettie Virginia Harris.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday February 15, from 5-8 pm and on Sunday February 16, from 12- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. In honor of Jeffery’s request cremation will follow services.

I went to high-school w Jeff. He was a really good friend (w a dirty mind LOL) always listened when someone needed an ear. I'll always remember how he loved to make people laugh. Jeff, you're gonna be greatly missed my friend!

It's going to be weird not seeing him around him. Not popping up in my Messenger. I remember him and my belated husband Scott would joke around they were gonna share me with the laughter of course. I just can't believe this happened. He tried cheering me up.We would talk in the parking lot.You would tell me when his gout got to him He would be in pain and still talk to you He was one of a kind To meet anyway I don't think he had any enemies If he had any The blame would be on them because he had a great personality Prayers for all i'm so sorry for you Until we meet again
