Jeffrey "MudCat" Allen Ware, 61, of Philippi, West Virginia, passed away on Jan 18, 2020, surrounded by family.
He was born on Jan 23, 1958, in Chester County, Pennsylvania to parents, Denzil Ware, deceased and survived by mother Jean Ramsey Ketchem, of Fairmont. Jeff learned his mechanic, and carpentry skills on-the-fly, through journeyman jobs instead of traditional trade schools and from his father. He Worked as a Handy-man Contractor, Mechanic at Snyder Industries, and truck driver at Coal Labs.
He married Becci Ware, on August 3, 2002, who survives him. Jeff is also survived by his 6 Sons, and 4 grandchildren, his sons are Chief Seth A. Parsons USN, wife Tonita, daughters Haiden and Payton, of Chesapeake, VA. John A. King, Bridgeport, WV , SSgt Joseph A. King USAF, wife Angela's and sons Caiden and Nathan of San Antonio TX, SSgt Matthew A. King USAF, South Korea, Jordan A. Ware, and Kenyon A. Ware, of Bridgeport. Sisters Deloris Biller of Fairmont, WV and Brenda Ware Doyle of Barbour Co. and husband Brad Doyle, deceased; one niece and three nephews.
Jeff was known for his love of woodworking, and construction. Instilling pride into his work in everything he did, from helping his fellow community members in Union, or building a 3 month project, while jamming out to classic rock, for that perfect custom made lamp. These values of hard-work, discipline, family, and patience, were the core values he instilled in his family. He also loved camping, fishing hunting and riding his Harley to relax.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday, Jan 24, from 4-8 pm and on Saturday January 25, from 8 am – 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm. Interment will follow in the Pitman Cemetery. The family requests that people make donations in support of Colon Cancer Foundation 10 Midland Ave. Suite M-06 Port Chester, NY 10573, in lieu of sending flowers.

Jeff you and Becci gave me one of my most treasured memories. The day Jordan was Born. We were ready to play cards!!!! But there was no time for that!!! Jeff you were truly a God sent blessing to Becci and your Boys all of them. You were very loved and will be missed. Now Rest!!!!!
