Jimmie G. Frey, age 79 a resident of 33 Tucker St. Buckhannon passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday October 28, 2009 at his residence. He was born June 4, 1930 at Logan, WV a son of the late George and Molly (Smith) Frey. He was united in marriage to his wife of 50 years Patricia A. "Pat" Frey who preceded him in death on February 21, 2004. Surviving is;
One daughter and son-in-law; Virginia K. "Kay" and husband Dennis Dean of Crown Point, IN
Three sons and daughter-in-laws; Kimberly A. Frey and wife Elizabeth K. of Buckhannon
Kip D. Frey and wife Ramona J. of Pineville, WV
Kevin R. Frey and wife Krista S. of Clarksburg
Three granddaughters; Aimee Frederickson, Karly R. Frey and Kaitlin C. Frey
Four grandsons; Doug Andrews, Jason A. Frey, Kody R. Frey, and D.J. Frey
Five great grandchildren; Dylan Frederickson, Zachary N. Andrews, Lauren G. Andrews, Bryce D. Huffman, Rozalynne F. Frey
He was an Honorary Member of the Upshur County Emergency Squad.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday October 31 from 12:30-1:30 at which time Mr. Frey will be moved to the Mt. Kim,Kevin,Libby,Jason and Jim I am so happy that I was able to come into your home and get to know each and every one of you somewhat my only regret is that I wasn't able to know you when Jim was healthy. I am so sorry for your lost but we know he was ready and now he is in heaven as a bright shining star that he deserves to be.
