John J. Iski, Sr., age 69, a resident of Parma, OH. passed away Friday March 25, 2011 in the Pines in Canton, OH. He was born October 24, 1941 in Philippi a son of the late George and Agnes (Honc) Iski. He was united in marriage to Allana (Stone) Iski who survives in Parma, OH Also surviving is:
One son: John Iski Jr. and wife Kylea
One sister: Patty Iski
Niece: Angie Gordon and husband Chuck
great niece and nephew: Hunter and Hailey Gordon, all of St. Pete's Beach, FL
Mr. Iski retired from LTV Steel after 42 years of service. He served in the US Navy from 1960 -62.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday March 30, family will be present from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. and on Thursday March 31 from 8-11am the service hour with Rev. Fr. James O'Connor officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery with military honours being accorded.
