John T. Reynolds, Jr.

John Thomas Reynolds, Jr. age 68, a resident of Mansfield Place of Broaddus Hospital and a former resident of Chestnut Ridge Rd. Philippi, passed away Tuesday December 24, 2019. John was born April 22, 1951 in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late John Thomas Reynolds, Sr. and Frone (Kennedy) Reynolds. Surviving is Sister, Dora Reynolds of Philippi Brother, Stanley Reynolds, of Philippi Several nieces and nephews John was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Annette Mayle, and Eilene Flewellen, two brothers, Denver Lee Kennedy, Roy Kennedy John retired as a laborer from the Construction Laborers Union. He was an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing, trapping and doing carpentry work. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday December 27, from 5-8 pm and on Saturday December 28, from 8 am- 1pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Rev. Ezik Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.
