Jonathan Correl Croston, age 42, a resident of Philippi passed away Sunday December 30, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and family. Jonathan was born September 16, 1976 in Philippi a son of Correl and Rita Faye (Mayle) Croston who survives. Jonathan was united in marriage on July 18, 1998 to Julie Croston who survives at home. Also surviving-
Daughter, Alivia Grace Croston
Sisters, Veronica Croston and Brianna Collins
Brother, Brian Collins
Uncles, Craig Mayle and Jimmy Mayle
Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Maybelle Croston, Arthur and Magnolia Mayle,
Jonathan worked as a salesman for State Electric. He loved spending time with his family, taking beach vacations, he was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed landscaping. Jonathan attended People’s Chapel Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut. St. Philippi on Wednesday January 2, from 11 am – 8 pm and on Thursday January 3, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Rev. Ruston Seaman officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.

Jon was a kind loving man. He was not just family but also a great friend during school years. Jon will be greatly missed.

I knew of Jonathan through the school. I have subbed for Alivia and think she is a wonderful little girl. I know her grandparents from the hospital. Her grandpa from hospice. I think a lot of them. My heart goes out to you all and prayers.
