Keaton Tyler Massie, age 23, a resident of Philippi passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 1, 2021. Keaton was born on May 3, 1998 a son of Jeffrey Scott Massie of Ohio and Kimberly Sue Moats and companion, Gary T. Skidmore of Philippi. Keaton graduated from the Mountaineer Challenge Academy in 2014, and worked for Mt. State Foam Insulation.
He enjoyed hunting, riding ATVs, his motorcycle and being outdoors.
He also loved being with his family and friends, who all will miss him dearly.

Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday, October 4th from 2-8 pm and on Tuesday, October 5th from 8-11am the service hour with Pastor Sam Haught officiating. In honor of Keaton’s request, cremation will follow.
