Ed Lanham left a message on October 5, 2021:
Keaton's obituary mentioned that he graduated from the Mountaineer Challenge Academy in 2014. Kim and I worked together at Philippi Elementary School and I remember her sharing a picture of Keaton in uniform with me. She beamed with joy and was so proud of his accomplishment! I met Keaton once and recall how respectful he was towards me. Someone said something funny and I remember that he showed that same smile that you see in his obituary photo. I also remember Kenny's Friday food bag deliveries from his church to the school, so students could take them home for the weekend. I share these memories in hopes that they will in some way ease the pain of loss this family is experiencing. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Ed Lanham
