Kelvin was one of the easiest going people I have known. Never a bad word about anyone, always had a smile and a pleasure to talk to. I went to school and graduated with Kelvin and it was a pleasure to have known him! His sudden passing was a shock.
Kelvin was a nephew and was a good man. I haven't seen him in many years since I live in California. I seen him as a young boy when I lived with the family while working a strip mine in Philippi. I am sorry for the sudden lost of one of the family and send my sincere condolences to the rest of the family.
To Kelvin's family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Kelvin all the way back to his days in my English class at PB in the 70's. He was quiet and funny and I enjoyed being around him and kidding with him. After high school, I lost track of Kelvin until his paving company put in the walking track at Kasson while I was principal there about 15 years ago. Since then, I always enjoyed saying hi when we saw each other in Philippi and especially when we bumped into each other at the grocery store. We'll be out of state during the viewing period and so I'm taking this opportunity to express Jill's and my thoughts and prayers to his loved ones. Kelvin was a nice fellow and I'll miss him a lot. God Bless. Doug Schiefelbein
So sorry for your loss. Kelvin was another good man that has been taken from here way too soon. Rest In Peace Kelvin.

Sad to hear of Calvins passing. I went to school with Calvin he was a good friend. He was always the same every time I saw him. Just found out today of his passing through another high school friend. Calvin was a good man for sure. I was glad I got to know him.
