Linda Lou Triplett, age 84, Linda resided with her grandson Derek, wife Cassie and their children in Moatsville, WV, passed away Monday June 30, 2025 in the United Hospital Center. Linda was born November 21, 1940 in Moatsville, a daughter of Noble Bernard and Louise June (Foster) Marsh. Linda was united in marriage on February 6, 1959 to Leslie Perry Triplett who preceded her in death on June 18, 2008.
Linda worked as paramedic for the Barbour County Emergency Squad. She enjoyed crocheting, watching wrestling on tv, and playing bingo. Linda adored her children and grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them. She also loved her animals, especially her feline companions.
Surviving is her children Steve and wife Linda of Keyser, Carla and husband Rick of Philippi, Randy of Weirton, Cindy and husband Mitch of Morgantown, Timmy and wife Michelle of Philippi, and Angie and husband Ronnie of Moatsville; 27 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; siblings Kay Nutter of Volga, Eloise Miller of Morgantown, and Chuck Marsh of Virginia.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and June Marsh; husband Leslie Triplett; sister Ann Morris; and grandchildren Anthony, Johnathan, and Elizabeth.
Family will received friends at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday July 2, from 2- 8 pm and on Thursday July 3, from 8am- 2 pm. A time of reflection will be held at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Tacy Crossroads Cemetery.
