Lisha Ruth Nash Warner age 48 a resident of Rt. 1 Volga, passed away Friday August 21, 2009 in St. Joseph Hospital. She was born March 14, 1961 in Buckhannon a daughter of the late Mason and Ruth Ann (Symonds) Payne. Surviving is; One Daughter; Brittany N. Warner of Buckhannon One Son; Jonathan W. and wife Akiko Nash of Doha Qatar Two sisters; Zana and husband Naaman Welch of Volga Judy and husband Mack Metz of Buckhannon Three Brothers; Ernie and wife Vivian Payne Masie and wife Sandy Payne both of Volga David Payne of Buckhannon One granddaughter; Ria Nash Several Nieces and Nephews Ms. Warner was a caretaker, and enjoyed cooking and baking. Ms. Warner request for cremation will be honored Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday August 24, from 4-7:00 p.m. A memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Carol Duffield officiating.   1. To Britt, Jon, and Payne family, You all have been in my family for years. Lisha has been a wonderful friend to have she always had a hug and a smile. Please know that it time it will become easier. You guys were there when we lost dad and Louie, know we are here for you. Love you all bunches. Stay strong.

  3. I was totally shocked to hear of Lisha's passing. I was a friend of long ago and am saddened that I didn't keep in touch as I should have.My thoughts and prayers are with those left behind. Lisha had a good heart and will truly be missed. It seems like only yesterday that we taught exercise classes together in Weston.Again, I am so sorry and my deepest sympathy goes out to the Family.

  6. I worked at T&L in weston, back in the 90's, I only met Lisha a few times. Jonathan sorry to hear about your mom.

  7. I was friends with Lisha many years ago during high school. I remember her sweet smile and that distinctive laugh. My sympathies to Judy and the family.
