Logan John Michael Knapp, age 16, a resident of Flemington, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday July 2, 2024 from injures sustained from a 4-wheeler accident. Logan was born December 23, 2007 in Clarksburg, WV a son of Jerrel Franklin Knapp Sr. and Frances Chrissy (Stout) Knapp who survive.
Logan was an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved his coon and rabbit dogs. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and motorcycles. Logan loved diesel truck especially when they would roll coal and the turbo spooled, he also loved his Toyota truck. Logan would always hang out with his friends and his close friend Michael. He liked to go to Audra Park and swim. Logan loved to eat, his favorite food was pizza, french fries, and chicken was his daily meals. He liked to target practice with his guns, and play his Xbox. Logan loved his family and was always hanging out with his dad. Logan was someone who was always on the go, he could never sit still. Logan always wanted to be a diesel mechanic.
Surviving is his parents Jerrel Sr. and Christine; siblings Jerrel Knapp Jr. and wife Shayla, Keaton Knapp, Casey Knight, Tyler Arbogast, Carrissa Knapp, David and Dakota Mouser, Hailey Fridley, Contessa Frame, brother-in-law Michael McGee; grandfather William Knapp Sr.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, especially Patrica Cobb and her cooking, also many many cousins. Close friends Landon Knotts, Andrew Knotts, Maddix Erickson, Gavin Sublett, and Trenton Martin, Eli Beeson, and Davey LAnce
Logan was preceded in death by brother Austin Tallman, grandparents Mary Knapp, Martha Stout and Harold Stout.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday July 8, from 10 am- 4 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 pm with Pastor Scott Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the family farm in Volga.
