Lucy Norman

Lucy Louise (Moore) Norman, age 86, a resident of Colonial Place in Elkins and a former resident of Murrell Inlet, SC passed away Sunday January 6, 2013. She was born September 7, 1926 in Upshur Co. a daughter of the late Ira T. and Merle A. (Smallridge) Moore. She was united in marriage to Dana H. Norman who preceded her in death on August 19, 2000. Surviving are: Claudia Calkins and husband Lawrence of Murrell Inlet, SC Linda Schneider and husband Nile of South Burlington, Vermont Sabrina Ward and husband John of Philippi Seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren Mrs. Norman was preceded in death by sister, Josephine Bonnell and brother Maurice Moore. She was a homemaker. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday January 8, from 5-8 pm and on Wednesday January 9, from 8- 11 am the service hour with Rev. Judy Flynn officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
