Major Michael Spotloe

Major Michael Loyd Spotloe age 60 a resident of Hall Rd. Buckhannon passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born June 1, 1955 in Grafton, WV a son of Loyd Dale Spotloe and the late Catherine Louise (Breedlove) Spotloe. Surviving are four siblings- Deborah Dale Edwards of Myrtle Beach, SC Timothy William Spotloe of Philippi Chris Dean Spotloe of Myrtle Beach, SC Cathy Lavonne Grill of Buckhannon Michael was retired from the U.S. Army. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 5-8 pm and on Tuesday, December 15 from 8am- 12:30 pm the service hour. Interment will follow in the WV National Cemetery with full military honours being accorded. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.wrightfuneralhomeservices.com

  1. I remember when uncle Mike would come to Myrtle Beach and we would go to McDonalds and Dicks Pawn shop. Im really going to miss the corky things he would say that would always make me laugh.
    I know he is with his mom in heaven and I will see him again

  2. Mike loved the Lord from an early age. He left footprints on many hearts. We will miss his quiet spirit and loving heart. He finished his course and reached his destiny. May you have peace through the Prince of Peace until that great reunion day.

  3. I miss mike I'm miss the stuff we did we always had fun last time I spent time with him we went to a football game and he met a close friend mine it wasn't easy him goin but he's good now, rest in power mike I'll see you later man. I love you.

Mike’s has spent a lot of time with me in Myrtle Beach he live with me in a few different places he loved Myrtle Beach and West Virginia and he loved to travel he has been many places in his lifetime and seen lots of amazing places he has always been a good person when he was a little boy I used to pick on him he was younger than I am so it was the thing to do pick on your younger brothers he had many occupations in the armed forces one was a chaplain I know he was saved and went to heaven and is with Mom Dad and now Tim his younger brother he is happy now resting in the arms of Jesus

  5. Mike was a wonderful brother he was so smart. Mike loved Myrtle Beach and West Virginia and he loved to travel he has been to a lot of amazing places he would come and stay with me for months at a time in different places in Myrtle Beach he had many occupations in the armed forces one was a chaplain I know he was saved and is resting in peace in the arms of Jesus very happy with Mom Dad and now Tim
