Margaret Louise Montgomery, age 64, a resident of Brownton, passed away Thursday January 5, 2017 in Broaddus Hospital. She was born February 19, 1952 in Philippi a daughter of the late William Oscar and Audra Virginia (Post) Haddix. She was united in marriage on February 27, 1969 to her husband of 47 years David Arthur Ray Montgomery who survives at home. Also surviving:
Two daughters; Debra Kay Hill and husband Mark
Misty Marie Stutler and husband Jason
One son; David Ray Montgomery and companion Pam George all of Browntown
Two sisters; Ilene Haller of Weston
Arlene Haddix of Georgia
Two brothers; Billy Haddix and wife Carole of Parsons
Robert Haddix of Weston
Special Nephew; Bobby Johnson of Weston
Six grandchildren; Ashley Nicole Hill, Courtney Michelle Hill, Mark Allen Hill Jr., Alicia Rene Gibson, David Ray Montgomery Jr., Taylor Audra Louise Stutler.
Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by six siblings; Betty Osborn, Sherman Haddix, Jack Haddix, Charles Haddix Gerald Haddix, Sylvia Lent.
Mrs. Montgomery was a homemaker, she loved watching westerns especially Gunsmoke and most of all taking care of her family. She was Pentecostal by Faith.
Mrs. Montgomery’s request for cremation will be honored.

So sorry for the family. I knew Margaret years ago, went to school together and rode the school bus together. She was a wonderful person. Prayers and hugs for all the family.
