Mary Robinson, age 53, a resident of Porterfield Rd. Philippi, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at the home of her daughter. She was born April 17, 1967 in Philippi, a daughter of the late Billy Gene Robinson and Annabell Lucy Robinson and William Junior Taylor.
Surviving are daughters, Alicia Bailey and fiancé Nicolas Burner of Philippi, and Amanda Barker and husband Steven Barker of Philippi.
Nana’s Angels, Stefanie and Noah Barker, Bentley and Jaylen Bailey and Landyn Metheney, were her world. Mary loved to go camping and be outdoors. She enjoyed riding with family, and being with her loving dog, Benny.
Mary is survived by sisters, Jessie Sis Tacy and Annie Darnell, both of Philippi, and brothers Dink Robinson and wife Linda Robinson of Philippi, Joe Robinson of Philippi, and Rick Robinson and wife Billie Robinson of Elkins.
Ms. Robinson was preceded in death by two brothers, Billie Junior Robinson and William Buddy Robinson
She was a longtime caregiver working for different companies. She loved to provide care for those in need.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday, January 10, from 10 am-2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Tacy Crossroads Cemetery located behind the church.
