Maxine Hope Burgardt, age 69, a resident of Boulder Rd. passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born September 12, 1950 in Philippi, WV a daughter of the late Edgar and Sylvia Dove (Foster) Freeman. She was united in marriage to Ronald Burgardt who survives at home. Also surviving-

One daughter, Amy Jo (Metheney) Foster

Three sons, Donald Wesley Metheney
Robert Edgar Metheney
Wilford Lee Metheney

Two sisters, Lola Freeman
Deborah Marsh

One brother, Jesse Freeman

16 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren

Maxine was preceded in death by five sisters; Helen, Evelyn, Gladys, Barbara, and Cindy; two brothers, Charles and John

She was a Homemaker and attended Haven of Hope Worship Center

Mrs. Burgardt’s request for cremation was honored

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Lots of good memories, in 64 years, I don't think there was any bad ones. ❤️ She and I have always been close. I do know I'm going to miss her so much! My heart goes out to her kids and husband. There is no question in my mind about where her soul is right now. She is in paradise with our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ!
