Mona Mayle

January 16, 1942 ~ July 13, 2015

Mona Jo Mayle, age 73, a resident of S. Main St. Philippi passed away Monday July 13, 2015 at her residence. She was born January 16, 1942 in Barbour County a daughter of the late Leroy and Jessie Lee (Newman) Mayle. Surviving is- One daughter; Tressie Lynn Swiger and husband Tommy Three sons; Timmy Lee Mayle Michael Todd Mayle and wife Amanda Brian Keith Mayle and companion Erin Adams all of Philippi One sister; Della Mayle of Louisville, OH Grandchildren; Susie, Beth,and Todd Mayle of Lexington, KY, Destiny Stemple, TJ Swiger, and Tyrese Mayle all of Philippi Step-Grandchildren; Noah Gearheart, Emma and Chloe Croston and Austin Nutter of Philippi Mona was preceded in death by four sisters; Sara Jo Collins, Lenora Croston, Averille Croston, Elieen Mayle, and three brothers; Lemuel, Columbus, and Kenny Mayle. Mona was a homemaker, she enjoyed talking on the phone, attending yard sales, and listening to gospel music. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday July 15, from 5-8 pm, on Thursday July 16, from 8am-8 pm and on Friday July 17, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Speaker William “Bill” Berdine officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery. Friday July 17, 2015, 2 pm at Wright Funeral Home Click for Map and Directions
