Nancy Scott Dougherty

We are extremely saddened to mention the passing on Sunday morning 12/13/20 of Nancy Scott Dougherty (McCoy), a truly wonderful woman and beloved mother.
A lifelong artist, seamstress and photographer, Nancy had an unmatched eye for beauty and elegance.
Equal parts charitable and opinionated, Nancy will be sorely missed by all.
She is survived by her son Patrick Dougherty, her daughter Rachel Reed, her nephew Cameron Proffitt, her brother Philip Wagner, her nephews, Reid and Ryan Wagner, and her niece Riley Wagner.
Please join us in celebrating her heart of gold and life well-lived in these troubled times. A Celebration of life will be held at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday December 19, 2020 at 2 pm with Rev. Francis McCoy officiating. Friends will be received from 1 until 2 before the celebration.

Nancy had an incredible way of speaking her mind….a trait to be admired. Our gal pals posse, of which Nancy was a member, had some good times while in high school. One happy and vivid memory is the time(s) we would all squeeze into Cyndy's Karmann Ghia and cruize Main Street….back and forth past the Dairy King and around the AB Campus. Enjoyed the earthly journey with you Nancy. Ride on into your Heavenly Place. ❤
