Nancy Gail (True) Streets, age 72, a resident of Century passed away Wednesday August 12, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 15, 1942 in Century a daughter of the late William Page and Amelia Virginia (Maragni) True. Nancy was united in marriage on September 4, 1976 to David L. Streets who survives at home. Also surviving

Grandchildren, Cody and Kayla Herbst of Philadelphia, PA, David Saas of Charlottesville, VA, Trevor Saas of Roanoke, VA, Justin and Andrew Erickson of Century
Nancy was preceded in death by one sister Barbara True. She retired from the accounting department for Moore Business Forms in Buckhannon.
Nancy was very active doing community service, she donated most of her time to the Volga-Century Community Center, she was the founder in starting the Century Jamboree, and was an advocate for children. Nancy was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday August 14, from 5-8 pm and on Saturday August 15, from 8-10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. William Seli offering the homily and Rev. Fr. Kent Durig as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to Century Progress Development Association o/c BC Bank PO Box 370 Philippi, WV 26416. We are so sorry to hear about Nancy as we have always considered her an extension of the Zubas family. She has been a true friend and major player in the support of our Mom and Dad in Century until they finally passed and we cannot thank her and Dave enough for their support. We will miss her and want all of her family to know that we are sorry to hear of her passing. We owe a lot to Nancy.
We just learned of Nancy's passing – too late to offer our condolences at the visitation or to attend her funeral Mass. We were so shocked and so sad. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant you peace and comfort.
