Olen Manifa Nutter, Jr., age 55, passed away on Monday April 30, 2018 at his residence on his family farm in the Brushy Fork Community. He had been in declining health and death was unexpected. Olen was preceded in death by several aunts, and uncles. He had worked for C & W Coal Company, and managed several restaurants. Olen loved spending time with his boys hunting and fishing, spending time with his classmates, and took great pride in the care of the family farm.
In honor of Olen’s wishes cremation will be honored.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday May 5, from 2-6pm. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Olen’s memory to Melva Freeze 12921 Barbour County Highway Philippi, WV 26416.
