My deepest condolence is extended to this Crouse family. I was fortunate to spend time with Orlan and Jean and developed a love for both of them. So much knowledge and history is lost with Orlan's passing. Prayers for his family.
Sending our thoughts of sympathy and prayers to Rocky, Mike and beloved grandchildren. My mother, Dorothy loved when Jean and Orlan came to her home on Laurel Mountain! Even though mom was Jean’s aunt, they were the same age and loved each other like sisters. Orlan was such a great person! I have such wonderful memories of time spent with him, as I’m sure you do! May those precious memories sustain you in your grief. I am very sorry, but a medical procedure the next day prevents us from attending the viewing. Please know our thoughts will be with you. Love you all and Sarah, I will be in touch on Messenger.
So very sorry for your loss Rocky,Mike and rest of family. May GOD be with you during this sad time.

Rocky, Mike, Doug, Sarah, and Justin: Your Dad (and Grand-dad) was a special friend and neighbor to our family over the years. We will miss him not being across the street – he was nearly always home and we looked forward to visiting with him either on his back deck that over looked nearly all of South Philippi or watching with him the Pirates, the Mountaineers, or specials on PBS like Mountain Stage or the Irish tenor, Daniel O'Donnell. The neighborhood will not be the same without him – we are looking forward to seeing him again. Sincerely, Charlie and Jan & family
Mike Rocky,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad passing. When your mom passed I gave him all my information so we could get in touch with each other, but he may have forgotten. I will never forget spending the summer's with you guys. The funniest was when Mike fell out of Grandma and Grandpa's apple tree and was in a body cast in the summer. Too funny. Loved spending the time with your mom and dad. The last time I seen them as at Tom and Cheryl McCray's anniversary party. Your dad had never changed. You boys take care and my heart is with you at this time. I'll have to look you up when I come down to W.Va.
Love you both,
Your cousin, Linda
Orlan was a special guy who always made you feel like family; being a long time close friend of his son, Rocky, I know he will be sorely missed by the Crouse clan. Our deepest sympathy goes out to all, Love, Dave and Carol White
