Pascal Dana Harsh, age 65, a resident of Bartlett Run Rd. Philippi, passed away Monday May 28, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 14, 1952 in Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Pascal W. and Gladys L. (Upton) Harsh. He was united in marriage on July 14, 1979 to Donna Lea (Robinson) Harsh who survives at home. Pascal had worked for the Barbour County Assessor’s office as a field agent, he was a truck driver for A & W Trucking, and a volunteer van driver for Kid Reach. He was an outdoorsman, and a true West Virginia Man, he love the rolling hills and loved to travel in West Virginia traveling numerous county roads exploring where they went. Pascal enjoyed hunting, fishing and introducing the youth in the sport. He was an avid reader. Pascal enjoyed helping people and loved children. He was very adventurist and witty. Pascal was a member of People’s Chapel Church and loved his church family.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday May 31, from 3-8 pm. Pascal will be moved on Friday June 1, to People’s Chapel Church to lie in state from 10am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Ruston Seaman, and Pastor Dave DeRouchie officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Morris Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family ask that donations be made to help with the funeral cost.
