Patricia “Patty” Ellen Wright, age 64, a resident of Moatsville passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born April 14, 1949 in Philippi a daughter of the late Steve Kurucz Sr. and Sophia (Smrek) Kurucz. She was united in marriage on May 9, 1971 to Murl A. Wright who survives at home. Also surviving
Two sons; Richard M. Wright of Belington
Steven B. Wright of Moatsville

One sister; Delores Upton of Cherry Hill Rd. Philippi

One brother; Steve Kurucz, Jr. of Philippi

Patty worked as a flower designer for Thornhill’s Florist for over 35 years. She enjoyed gardening and was a Methodist by faith.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday February 26, from 4-8 pm and on Thursday February 27, from 8 am – 2 pm the service hour. Interment will in the Crossroads Cemetery at Tacy.
