Patsy Eileen Mayoros, age 81, a resident of Rt. 1 Moatsville, WV passed away Saturday June 11, 2011 in the Grafton City Hospital. She was born February 10, 1930 in Moatsville, a daughter of the late Warner Zebedee and Cleophie (Murphy) Moats. She was united in marriage in 1949 to Julius Mayoros who preceded her in death in 1953. Surviving is

Patsy was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by 10 siblings: Albert Moats, Margaret Poole, Forrest “Dick” Moats, Charles Moats, Herbert and Hubert Moats, Carl Moats, Armenda “Minnie” Corder, Lennie Moats, Gerald Moats.
She retired as a cook from Broaddus Hospital. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Grafton, and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Patsy never saw a stranger, and enjoyed caring for people and animals when in need.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday June 13, from 11 am- 2 pm. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Jim O’Connor officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Cemetery Rt. 2 Box 149 C Philippi, WV 26416.
