Pauline Moats

Pauline Moats, age 72, a resident of Philippi passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 23, 1945 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Riley and Hazel (Streets) Poe. Pauline was united in marriage March 28, 1964 to Donald Lee Moats who survives at home. Also surviving- Sons, Charles L. Moats and wife Tracey and Brian L. Moats both of Philippi Sisters, Sylvia Humphreys of Philippi, Wilma Keene of Moatsville, Rohda Johns of Tacy, Juanita Johns of Cowen, Dottie Everson of Greensburg, PA, Rita Kennedy of Philippi and Betty Poe of Philippi Brother, Paul Mitchell of Clemtown Grandchildren, Amber Price, Johnna Moats, Tia Kisamore, Nikki Moats, Kevin and Lance Nelson Great grandchildren, Jaycie Price, Lainey Miner, Kenslea Price, Mayzie Payne, Nealen Price, Lilah Kisamore, Tinlee Kisamore, and Blayden Counts Close friend, Hayward Keene Pauline was preceded in death by infant sister, Linda Louise Poe, and infant brother, Eugene Mitchell. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday December 1, from 5-8 pm and on Saturday December 2, from 8 am- 1 pm the service hour with Rev. Michael Rexrode officiating. Interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery.
