Pete was preceded in death by sister, Ruthie Harris, brother James “Butch” Cleavenger, nephew Andy Kurucz Jr. niece Donna Luff, great niece Megan Luff.
Pete worked for the City of Clarksburg street department. He was an avid New York Yankee fan and enjoyed watching sports, westerns and was an antique collector. Pete attended the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday June 21, from 5-8 pm and Saturday June 22, from 8-11am the service hour with Pastor Paul Bryd officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
