Rebecca Jean Riley, age 51, a resident of Tygart Dr. Philippi passed away Wednesday March 24, 2010 in St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born January 26, 1959 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Fred Earchel and Frances Beatrice (Daniels) Maxwell. Rebecca was united in marriage September 24, 1979 to Jerry W. Two nephews; Jimmy and wife Lisa Marsh of Clarksburg
Timmy and wife Robin Marsh of Morgantown
Two grandchildren; Coalton Joe Burkhammer, and Madison Lynae Burkhammer
Rebecca was preceded in death by one daughter; Jamie Maxwell, one brother; Sonny Maxwell, and one sister; Linda K. Marsh
Rebecca was homemaker, and attended the Light of Christ Chapel. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and the outdoors.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday March 28, from 5-8 p.m. and on Monday March 29 from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. the service hour with Rev. Jimmie Tallman officiating. Interment will follow in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery.
