Robert Allen Ball (Services Added)

Robert Allen Ball, age 64, a resident of Philippi, passed away unexpectedly Friday December 18, 2020 in Broaddus Hospital Emergency Room. Robert was born June 21, 1956 in Beckley, WV a son of the late Charles Ball Jr. and Nina Lou (Hawkins) Ball. Robert was united in marriage on September 3, 1983 to Susan Denise (Gouer) Ball who preceded him in death on August 13, 2015. Surviving is- Sisters, Peggy Stutler and husband Bob of Nevada Nancy Phipps of Buckhannon Mother-in-law, Beverly Gouer of Philippi, who Robert thought of like a mom Brother-in-law, Larry Joe Gouer of Elkins Nephew, Junior and Brad Stutler Nieces, Christina Gouer Maddy, Denise Gouer Fletcher and husband Levi, and Jennifer Gouer Pritt Great nieces and nephews, Lilly Pritt, Laney Fletcher, Lexi Gouer, Kayden Gouer, Layla Fletcher, Carter Gouer, and Lincoln Fletcher K9 companion, BB and feline companion, Rocky Robert was preceded in death by sister, Judy Ann Ball and Father-in-law Joseph Lee Gouer who he thought of like a dad Robert worked as a construction worker for Golden Resources and Auvil Homes. He loved to race his El Camino, and enjoyed working on cars. Robert never met a stranger he will be dearly missed by his family and numerous friends. Roberts’s wishes for cremation will be honored. A celebration of life will be held at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday February 21, 2021 from 4-7 pm. Celebration services will begin at 7 pm with Pastor Jon Villers officiating.
