Ronald Allen McCormick, age 49, a resident of Philippi, passed away Thursday March 11, 2021 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital. Ronald was born March 3, 1972 in Parkersburg, WV a son of Ronn Easton of Minnesto, birthmother Karen (Gard) Lemley of Ohio, and adopted mother Judy (Gard) Collins of Ohio. Ron was united in marriage on July 13, 2001 to Amanda (Cogley) McCormick who survives at home. Also surviving is
Daughter, Jessica McCormick of Philippi
Several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Ronald was an avid farmer, he attended the Heaven of Hope Church. In honor of Ronald’s request cremation will be honored. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Ron was a big man, those that knew him well got to see his big heart. My heart goes out to Amanda, whom he loved and adored, and Jessica, the little girl that always made him smile.May you rest in peace Big Ron.
I was so happy to count Big Ron as one of my friends…he was such a great guy and always kind and happy to see you when you met up. I had the pleasure of knowing Ron for a long time and he will be sorely missed. He loved his dogs, his wife and his daughter more than life and there will be a hole in all of their hearts with him gone. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
