Several nieces and nephews. Ron worked for the Barbour County Communication Center as a 911 dispatcher, he volunteered with the Philippi Fire Department, Barbour County EMS, and served as a deputy sheriff for Barbour County. Ron also worked at Philippi Development Coal Mines. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, he loved spending time with his family, and they meant the world to him.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday December 11, from 4-8 pm and on Sunday December 12, from 8 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm. Interment will follow in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery.
