Ron was a sweet good hearted man. We worked together at the ED at DMH
He was a good worker, and always with a smile.
A great Man and a great friend. I will truly miss our friendship and conversations. My Condolences to your family.
My heart and prayers are with all of you today. Ron was a very big part of my life growing up. Oh he was a rambunctious child. But he had such a good heart. The last good memory I have was when we were all sleigh riding down our hill and his inter tube landed in the ditch and as he was going to get it someone pulled over and stole it. Oh he was mad. But it was still a wonderful day. And then he would come into Wendys with his co workers and we would pick on each other like we did when we was kids. I am going to miss you Ronnie.
To Ron's Family:
We are so very sorry to learn of Ron's passing. So young, so talented, so loved and so caring, giving and generous...we know your hearts are broken and that you will miss him terribly, but we also know he is in heaven wrapped in the strong arms of our great and mighty God. May you rest in peace, Ron. In deepest sympathy, Gail Dragoo and Marsha Myers
His life and service to us all, endures in memories and in lessons taught. Will be missed. Thank you Ron.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Ron was an excellent role model.. not only in EMS and Fire but as a father, husband and human being! It was an honor knowing him! Rest easy !! Prayers for his family!
Christina, I am so very sorry to hear this news. I have such fond memories of your family when you lived in Morgantown. I am Mary Lynne's mother and I was always appreciative of your help with my grandchildren. Playing in your back yard was always great fun for them. And I was always so impressed with your husband's braveness in the line of work he chose. This is such a terrible time to have such a tragedy added to it for you. My best wishes to you and Gabe and your little one as you move forward. Sent with love. Nancy Allen
Peace be with you, Skidmore family. You are all in our prayers. Thank you, Ron, for your service and dedication to your communities, for being a good neighbor and a caring father.

Ron taught me so much when I was becoming an EMT. I also dispatched him for many years. He was very much into helping people. A person, I will definitely miss!!
Respected and admired by all who knew him, Ron gave his all to what some say is 'a calling'. Too few of his caliber exist in the service to our communities. Now this gem has crossed over. You will be missed, Ronnie.
To the whole family and especially Gabriel, sending much love and peace.

Emergency services in Barbour County suffered a tremendous loss with Ron's passing. He wore so many hats and always wore them well. He was a true gentleman and sacrificed so many things and family gatherings to help a complete stranger in need. Our agency is a better place today because of him. Thank you Ron for your service and special thanks to his family for sharing him with us.
Our deepest sympathies to Ron's entire family. He will be greatly missed. Having been in EMS for 35 years, Ron & I faced many challenges together. It was always a comfort to know he was on the scene. On a lighter note, he was the only person I knew that showed up later than me for everything! May God be with his family and friends and may you forever keep telling his story.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
