In Loving Memory of Rosemary Humphries
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Rosemary Laura Feletti Humphries, who left us peacefully on March 17, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on August 16, 1934, in Youngstown, Ohio, Rosemary was the devoted daughter of Dominic and Myrtle Feletti, and a loving sister to Raymond, Dominic, Alice, and Ronald. Rosemary resided in Youngstown Ohio her entire life until moving with Philippi, West Virginia in her later years at the end of 2021.
As a mother, she was the heart of our family-generous, selfless, and nurturing. Her love for her children was unparalleled, and her ability to make each of us feel seen, heard, and loved was a gift we will carry with us always. Her gentle wisdom, warm embrace, and unwavering support were the foundation of our lives.
Rosemary was independent and strong, loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, and found joy in her children and grandchildren. She had a unique way of making everyone around her feel special, and her resilience left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a cherished friend, a trusted confidante, and an inspiration to many.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Debra, Pamela, Dominic and Deanne and her grandchildren Brandy, Melissa, Brittney, Sarah, Lauren, and Dana and great grandchildren, as well as her sibling, Raymond Feletti. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dominic, Ronald, and sister Alice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a Catholic Charity in her honor. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday March 23, from 6-8pm and on Monday March 24, from 11 am- 1pm. A Celebration of Rosemay’s life will take place at 1 pm with Rev. Shirley Webster officiating. Interment will follow in Mary’s Chapel Cemetery.
While we will forever mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing her legacy of love, strength, and grace will continue to guide us every day. Rosemary will always remain in our hearts, and her memory will be cherished for generations to come.
