Royce Ann Howard, age 64, a resident of Willow Springs, NC passed away Friday January 10, 2020 in the Transition Hospice Home in Raleigh, NC. Royce was born September 11, 1955 in Philippi a daughter of the late Carl L. and Betty Lucille (Bean) Phillips. Royce was united in marriage on January 2, 1988 to Timothy Wayne Howard who survives at home. Also surviving
Two children, James Howard of Buffalo, NY, and Ariel Stanfield and husband Brian of Willow Springs, NC
Sister, Carla Phillips
Brothers, Jesse Phillips and wife Penny of Bruceton Mille, WV
Kent Phillips and wife Lora
Bryan Phillips and wife Dianna both of Philippi
Granddaughter, Zelda Stanfield
Royce worked as a cashier for Target.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday January 14, from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday January 15, from 8 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Larry Poling officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

I remember the first time I met Ann. They came for a visit at my parents. She was a very nice person, happy, vibrant woman. Plus she loved my Cousin unconditionally. She always new how to make you feel at home. We will miss you Ann RIP.
