Sarah Kathleen “Katy” (Menear) Campbell, age 75, a resident of Morgantown and a former resident of Fairmont, passed away Thursday September 24, 2015 in Madison Center in Morgantown. She was born December 29, 1939 in Philippi, a daughter of the late Lyle and Eleanor (Woodford) Menear. Sarah was united in marriage on June 7, 1957 to Edward Delaine Campbell who preceded her in death June 20, 2007. Surviving is
One son; Greg Campbell of Morgantown
One sisters; Margaret Peggy Lantz and husband Charles of Grafton
One brother; Lyle “Woody” Menear and wife Karen of Philippi
One granddaughter; Lauren Ashley Campbell of Morgantown
Sarah worked as a billing coordinator for Farmer’s Mutual Insurance.
Sarah’s request for cremation will be honored.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday October 1, from 5-9 pm.
