Sharon Kay Upton

Sharon Kay Upton, age 70, a resident of Philippi, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 in the Davis Medical Center in Elkins, WV. Sharon was born January 8, 1952 on Baltimore, MD a daughter of the late Clarence Nottingham and Rosalie (Jones) Rollyson. Sharon is survived by her grandson, Matthew Aden Upton, cousins, Jenny Easterday of Knoxville, TN, and Leland Jackson of Illinois, and also her k-9 companions, Bailey and Ariel.
Sharon worked for Broaddus Hospital with 52 years of service as a Lab Tech.
In honor of Sharon’s request cremation will be honored.
Friend will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday November 17 from 5-8pm. A celebration of life will be held at 8 pm with Pastor Joe Bowen. In lieu of flowers family ask that memorial contributions be made to Wright Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.

I love u Momma Sharon. When I was born, u held me B4 Kevin did U were a big part of my life growing up. Always a very strong, loving, great woman. Rest easy. She is also survived by her son, Matthew Scott Upton. & 2 more grandchildren, Logan Ray & Ali Upton.
