Sterling Gregory age 81 a resident of Murphy Station Rd. Buckhannon passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 9, 1939 in Webster Springs, a son of the late George Lloyd and Olga Prudene (King) Gregory. He was united in marriage to Ruth Ann (Wright) Bonner Gregory who survives. Also surviving-

Jo Ann Bonner Robertson and husband John of VA
Two sons, Mark Gregory and wife Marie of England
Robert Gregory and wife Windy of England
Three sisters, Joan Kesling, of Hillsdale, MI
Vera Mae Thomson and husband Ron of Ocala, FL
Sharon Sue Johnson and husband William of Hagerstown, MD
One brother, Larry Gregory and wife Connie of Buckhannon
13 grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren
Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Sue (Bonner) Jones and brother-in-law, Zaner Kesling.
Sterling was a graduate of Buckhannon High School
He worked at Badger Coal Company, a member of the United Mine Workers and retired from WV Dept. of Highways in Barbour County.
He served in the US Airforce, and was stationed in England.
Sterling attended of Reger United Methodist Church
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.







Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Sterling was our neighbor for over 40 years, if you needed help he would be there. We feel as if we have lost a member of our own family.
