Teddy Marsh

Teddy Ray Marsh, age 74, a resident of Jack Reed Rd. Moatsville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 24, 1940 in Nestorville, WV a son of the late Delbert and Elsie May (Gribble) Marsh. Ted was united in marriage on February 25, 1961 to Delores Jane (Duckworth) Marsh who survives. Also surviving is One daughter; Delores R. “Jake” Marsh and companion Jeff Snider of Philippi One son; JW Marsh and wife Ana of Moatsville Three sisters; Gloria Alexander and husband Walter of Nestorville Peggy Moore and husband Jim of Grafton Bernita Rutherford and husband Glen of Elkins Three brothers; Donald Marsh and wife Rebecca of Philippi Charles Marsh and wife Vicky of Fairmont Todd Marsh and wife Rosanne of Fairmont One grandson; Dylan James Marsh of Moatsville Ted was preceded in death by one brother; Jimmy Marsh Ted retired from the WV Department of Highways as a Truck Driver; he had also worked for Century Limestone as a loader Operator, a Truck driver for King Knob Coal Co., Armstrong Trucking, Marsh Trucking, and Shaffer Sawmill, and worked at the Texaco Station as a mechanic and attendant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and most of all spending time with his grandson. He attended the Free Gospel Church of Moatsville. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday December 15, from 2-8 pm and on Tuesday December 16, from 8 am – 2 pm the service hour. Interment will follow in the Mt. Morris Cemetery.
