She was preceded in death by four siblings, Arnott Robert Raikes, Frances Elizabeth Phillips, James Thomas Raikes and Eleanor (Raikes) Knight
Miss Raikes was a homemaker and caregiver.
She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed life.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 12-2 pm the service hour with Rev. Dan Unger officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
