Thomas Gregory Jones, age 56, a resident of Philippi, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Greg was born March 24, 1962 in Philippi, a son of the late Thomas B. Jones and Barbara (Terango) Bradley, step father, Chris Bradley. Surviving is-
Sister, Shelley Short and husband Tom of Philippi
Niece, Gwen Carpenter and husband Marty of Fairmont
Nephew, Brian Short and wife Jaime of Philippi
Step-daughter, Tammy Canter and fiancé Sam Plum of Philippi
Step-son, Eddie Canter, of Philippi
Aunt, Sandy Rubenstein and husband Michael of GA
Close friend, Shannon Calhoun and son Kaisen of Philippi
Greg was a cross country truck driver, he was an avid Nascar fan, he enjoyed detailing and working on his trucks. Greg loved animals especially his dogs, he enjoyed exhibiting and showing horses at the county fair. Greg attended the Horizon Church in Junior.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday June 30, from 10 am- 1 pm the service hour with Pastor Jeff Burnett officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.wrighfuneralhomeservices.com

Greg was an amazing man. He was kind, caring and loving. He will be greatly missed by many. He was a great friend that I will never forget. He touched so many lives for the better. Rest In paradise my friend.
