Tillie H. Hicks age 94 a resident of Rt. 4 Buckhannon Audra Park Community passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009 in Mansfield Place. She was born October 3, 1914 in Braxton Co. a daughter of the late Floyd and Lou Setta (McClain) Spaur. She was united in marriage in January of 1937 to Jay C. Hicks who preceded her in death in March of 1990.
Surviving is:
One daughter; Patricia J. and husband Dale Mick of Akron, OH
One Son; Phillip J. and wife Linda Hicks of Register, GA
Eight Grandchildren
Seven Great-Grandchildren
Five Great-Great Grandchildren
Ms. Hicks was a farmer, homemaker and enjoyed sewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Broad Run Cemetery at Jane Lew, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.wrightfuneralhomeservices.com.

Phillip, so sorry to read about you Mother leaving us. When I was married to your cousin Rick, we enjoyed many hours with Aunt Tille and JC on the farm the SWJ waters took away. Was even in the house after it was moved over to Audra Park. Will remember her always. Dorie.
You have be a true friend to us and will be sadly missed.

Sorry to hear about your mother. I was thinking about her a few days ago because I hadn't talked to her for quite sometime. My mother (Shelva Skinner) passed away in March of this year but it was tim, she had lived a good life as I am sure your mother did also. Take care and live with the memories. Wanda and Jack
