Tressie Lynn Swiger, age 48, a resident of Maple Ave. Philippi, passed away Monday July 22, 2019 in United Hospital Center. She was born April 6, 1971 in Barbour County, a daughter of the late Herb and Mona Jo (Mayle) Mayle. Tressie was united in marriage on 2001 to Thomas B. Swiger who survives at home. Also surviving
Daughter, Destiny Stemple and companion Andreas Antonelli of Philippi
Son, TJ Swiger of Philippi
Brothers, Michael Mayle
Timmy Mayle
Brian Mayle and companion Erin Nutter all of Philippi
Several nieces and nephews
Tressie was a homemaker, and she enjoyed traveling.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday July 26, from 5-8 pm and on Saturday July 27, from 8 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Rev. Ruston Seaman and speakers William “Bill” and Rosie Berdine officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery. So sorry for your loss
I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one you are all in my prayers. Tressie was one of a kind I have so many memories with her starting in middle school. The little town of philippi wont be the same without her. She will be missed by many and never forgotten.

Always so happy to see me. Everytime we spoke she would ask about my son and my husband. Thrilled to see their pictures and hear stories about them. She was such a character. No one could ever forget her after meeting her.
