Troy Lee McCartney, Jr. age 48 a resident of Alder Ln. Philippi passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 19, 2018 at Broaddus Hospital. He was born June 1, 1970 in Philippi a son of Troy Lee McCartney Sr. and Arlina (Croston) McCartney. He was united in marriage in July of 1994 to Tracy (Mayle) McCartney who survives. Also surviving-

Mr. McCartney was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burl and Irene Croston and Lawrence and Evelyn McCartney
He was a truck driver for State Electric
Lee enjoyed farming, camping, carpentry, hunting, riding four-wheelers and spending time with his family.
He was a member of Apostolic Olive Hill Church
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday, October 25th from 5:30-8pm, Friday, October 26th from 8am-8pm and on Saturday, October 27th from 8am-1 pm the service hour with Rev. Dolly Smith and Rev. Menelus Mayle officiating. Interment will follow in the Croston-McCartney Cemetery.
