Velma Rosalie “Rose” Marsh, age 86, a resident of Philippi, passed away Thursday May 14, 2020 in Davis Medical Center. Rose was born January 12, 1934 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Chester and Nora (Auvil) Poling. Rose was united in marriage on July 10, 1951 to Arthur Wellington “Shady” Marsh who preceded her in death on July 5, 2019.

Rose was preceded in death by sister, Esta Howdershelt, and brother Kenneth Poling
Rose was a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening and loved her family, she attended New Beginnings Church where she was a devoted Christian and very active in church.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 16, at 3 pm at Central Chapel Cemetery.
