She was preceded in death by two brothers, Willard Mitchell and Elwood Junior “Jack” Mitchell
Mrs. Howdyshell was a homemaker, she enjoyed making graham cracker pies, pumpkin pies, homemade bread, roast beef and gravy. She enjoyed going camping and traveling with the car club. She was a member of the Pleasant Creek United Methodist Church. Mrs. Howdyshell was a graduate of Grafton High School class of 1956.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday October 27, from 2-8pm and on Thursday October 28, from 8- 11 am. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am. With Chaplain Lynn Keener officiating. Interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery.
