Sam Straughan left a message on October 30, 2019:
I will never forget the moments spent talking with Great Grandma Ginny as we spent time getting to know each other...with buttered toast and the best homemade tomato jam at her kitchen table. She was always a genuine person, one of the few in the family who welcomed me with open arms and a warm heart. It has been over 11 years since the last moment I saw her, and there's a patch of emptiness in my heart at not having her present in the length of that ongoing duration. However, I feel she would understand my circumstances more than anyone, just as she loved and supported my beloved cousin. She had always been that type of person who just...knew how to make you feel better. If there's anything I can add to this, it would be that I truly loved her and the beautiful soul she was. You will never be forgotten, Grandma Ginny.

C J Edge left a message on October 22, 2019:
She did so many ordinary things by "the signs"; planting her garden or flowers, harvesting, canning and perserving, preperations for next years planting, getting her hair cut, weaning calves and on and on. Oh, so much old wisdom she shared with her friends and family. Going to miss her

I loved grandma Jenny's sweet tea, all the family gatherings, and she would let me help her "cook" but really I just made messes. Love you Grangma Jenny! -Lauren I remember one night we were at the pavilion and she turned on that colored light and played some music. I had a fun time that night. I also liked playing with all the toys and she had some good movies. I love you too Great Grandma Jenny! -Isabella I liked playing with the toys and balls on the porch and watching movies too. Love -Trinity
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Ginny was a wonderful lady. Have some amazing memories of her stories that she told. Always so nice and sweet to us everytime we would stop by. My Children always looked forward to Halloween when they were younger because they knew Aunt Ginny was giving them popcorn balls. Rest in paradise Ginny, you will missed.
